I am currently in the process of moving this site to Google Sites. I have not completely finished moving everything over, but I do have the three basic pages which are 'About', 'Voicebanks', and 'Contact'. Does this mean this current site will be deleted? Yes and no. The site will still be kept up, but only for a certain period of time. I'll probably unpublish this site by December.
Here is the link to the new website: sites.google.com/view/seigoeutau/home It's been a while, huh? Sorry for keeping you in the dark for almost 3 months, I apologize! I've been so busy with school I haven't been able to work on Ace as much. I am making progress, though! I've been silently updating the progress bars the past few months, and while it's not made a huge difference, it's still better than nothing. I've also decided to not give a release date since I've found out the hard way that it really stresses me out, and being a procrastinator didn't help, either. That's really all I have to say right now, other than thank you so much for being patient!
I have added a purple progress bar for Aces' VCV bank to the right side of this page. It is for the overall voicebank completion, not for one single pitch. Something else is also there :)
I have deleted the direct links to CV v1 and v1.1 and replaced them with a button linked to a Google Drive folder with them. They are not gone, just moved to a different place!
A new CV voicebank has been released! It's a part of a new short series of CV voicebanks called "Revamp". The purpose of this is to, well, revamp Ace's CV banks since they aren't the greatest voicebanks. The voicebank is aliased in both Romaji and Hiragana and includes inhales, end breaths, some extra/rarely used Japanese sounds, and English L's and V's.
I recently got a new computer, and made the mistake of not setting my locale to JP before starting work on the VCV bank, and all of my OTO files got completely messed up when I tried to edit them. Because of this, I will have to re-configure the VB from scratch and release it much later. Most likely mid-to-late August or mid-September at worst, since I have school starting around then. I've been working on 2 side-projects in the meantime to make up for the late-ness(?) of the voicebank, so keep an eye out for those. Thank you for understanding.
All pitches have been recorded and the main pitch is almost completely configured! Also, for anyone wondering, the 3 pitches recorded are A3, C#4 and D4. The complete voicebank is still set to release by the end of the month, but I've also been working on one more extra thing I'll release close to the VCV bank release. :)
I have finished recording the first pitch! I would say it's about 40% configured at the moment. I have decided to record in 3 pitches, so this will take a while. I'm aiming to have the voicebank completely finished by the end of the month or early August. Until then, all I can say is thank you for waiting!
On July 1st, I released Ace's first VCV voicebank. It was rushed out and recorded with a 5mora lite reclist, meaning some sounds were missing, which I wasn't aware of at the time. Since then, I've been working on a newer VCV bank with a semi-good microphone (No BG noise!) and a full 7mora reclist. I'm also trying to get at least 2 pitches done with (maybe) some extra sounds. Until then, I won't be posting on Youtube or NicoNico until I release the new VB. I'll try to upload something, but I'm really taking my time on this. Thank you for understanding!
